Hi Nasim, Caster sugar is superfine white sugar. You can make it by putting normal white sugar in a blender or food processor and blitzing until fine. Icing sugar is even finer – it feels like a powder. The icing sugar is sometimes called powdered sugar and is really needed for this recipe. I have experimented with using all caster sugar but some of them worked and so,me cracked.

I know all about the licensed contractors and the fact that I can hire the guy who actually does the work to come on a Saturday and work the whole day for $250, it is crap and as long as your guy is actually good you are safe for small jobs I have always had the guy, not the real licensed contractor come. Everyone knows of someones cousin or some such person who is in the trades, we always had my uncle the electrician come to do the work, the truth is a friend or family member is way more likely to do a good job working on the side than some licensed tradesman who sends a lackey.

I read a great one recently: Happens Every Day by Isabel Gillies. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Also, Beautiful Boy by David Sheff, and one from a few years ago called Breakup by Catherine Texier. All are moving and so well-written.I’ve never understood the fascination with Eat, Pray, Love but I guess I get why chicks dig it.

Laurrie, I have many potted plants and nearby garden beds that provide ample spring and summer color, so I’m not concerned about waiting for moonflowers to bloom. One of my favorite parts of growing blooming plants is that I can enjoy each in ‘their’ time. Moonflower leaves and vines are beautiful even when not flowering.

Being open with colleagues is not a problem for me anymore (it used to be), but I’m still struggling with the limits of what I can say and do in the classroom at a public university. Interestingly, in one of my large intro classes last semester I mentioned that I was a Christian, and there was no reaction. I mean absolutely NO reaction. I’m not sure the students even remember my saying it.

Hi Nasim, Caster sugar is superfine white sugar. You can make it by putting normal white sugar in a blender or food processor and blitzing until fine. Icing sugar is even finer – it feels like a powder. The icing sugar is sometimes called powdered sugar and is really needed for this recipe. I have experimented with using all caster sugar but some of them worked and so,me cracked.

I know all about the licensed contractors and the fact that I can hire the guy who actually does the work to come on a Saturday and work the whole day for $250, it is crap and as long as your guy is actually good you are safe for small jobs I have always had the guy, not the real licensed contractor come. Everyone knows of someones cousin or some such person who is in the trades, we always had my uncle the electrician come to do the work, the truth is a friend or family member is way more likely to do a good job working on the side than some licensed tradesman who sends a lackey.

This is what I was taught in my civics class. I have not seen anyone argue that a naturalized citizen = natural born citizen. The argument is whether native born and natural born are two separate things. I think they are not and the quote would suggest that the terms were used interchangeably.

I used to be an AC Op with the Canadian Forces. We had international postings to Anchorage (and I’m assuming that’s where you’re going). From what I’m told…the weather there is nicer than North Bay, Ontario Canada. Although…I don’t think anything could be quite as great as West Coast Washington State/BC Province Area.

I worked hard and struggled through a difficult period many years ago. I was afraid that if I stopped working so hard, stopped the struggle, I might find myself back there again. I read a great one recently: Happens Every Day by Isabel Gillies. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Also, Beautiful Boy by David Sheff, and one from a few years ago called Breakup by Catherine Texier. All are moving and so well-written.I’ve never understood the fascination with Eat, Pray, Love but I guess I get why chicks dig it.

Laurrie, I have many potted plants and nearby garden beds that provide ample spring and summer color, so I’m not concerned about waiting for moonflowers to bloom. One of my favorite parts of growing blooming plants is that I can enjoy each in ‘their’ time. Moonflower leaves and vines are beautiful even when not flowering.
